Existing law defines certain acts as disorderly conduct and makes them punishable as a misdemeanor. Under existing law, it is disorderly conduct for a person to solicit, agree to engage in, or engage in an act of prostitution with the intent to receive compensation, money, or anything of value from another person. Under existing law, it is unlawful for a person to either direct, supervise, recruit, or otherwise aid another person in the commission of the violation mentioned above or collect or receive all or part of the proceeds earned from an act or acts of prostitution committed by another person in violation of the provision mentioned above.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to this provision.
