An act to amend Section 26604 of the Government Code, relating to local government.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 2831, as introduced, Jones-Sawyer. Sheriffs.
Existing law sets forth the duties of a sheriff and requires a sheriff to command the aid of as many inhabitants of the sheriff’s county as they think necessary in the execution of their duties.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 26604 of the Government Code is amended to read:

26604.
 The sheriff shall command the aid of as many inhabitants of the sheriff’s county as he or she the sheriff thinks necessary in the execution of his or her their duties.
