Existing law establishes the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the Department of Consumer Affairs to provide for the licensure and regulation of marriage and family therapists, licensed educational psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed professional clinical counselors. Existing law authorizes the board to conduct research in, and make studies of problems involved in, the maintaining of professional standards among those engaged in the professions it licenses, as provided.
This bill would require the board to post the research and studies on the board’s internet website within 30 days of completion.
