An act relating to state property.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 988, as introduced, Aanestad. Department of General Services: property.
Existing law requires the Department of General Services to perform various functions and duties with respect to state property and authorizes that department to sell, lease, exchange, or transfer specified parcels of real property throughout the state.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to require the department to evaluate the ability of specified property to meet the needs of state tenancy.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation to require the Department of General Services to evaluate the property located at 2440 Maine Street in Red Bluff, California for its ability to meet the needs of state tenancy.
