Existing law provides that the board of supervisors of any county owning fairgrounds and fairground facilities may lease, let, or grant licenses for the use of its real estate or personal property or any portion thereof to private individuals or associations for whatever purpose may be approved by the board that will not interfere with the use of the property for fair purposes.
This bill would state legislative intent to enact legislation limiting the minimum amount of general commercial liability insurance coverage that individuals or groups that desire to use fair facilities must carry in order to hold an event at a fairground.
