LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 3001, as introduced, Blanca Rubio. Prisons: employment of inmates.
Existing law requires every able-bodied inmate to work as many hours of labor as shall be prescribed by the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Existing law provides that, upon release, an inmate shall be paid any sum they are due from such labor.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.
