An act to amend Section 2 of the Education Code, relating to education.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 1802, as introduced, Jones-Sawyer. Education.
Existing law establishes the Education Code, and provides that its provisions are to be liberally construed, with a view to effect its objects and to promote justice.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 2 of the Education Code is amended to read:

 The code establishes the law of this the state respecting the subjects to which it relates, and its provisions and all proceedings under it are to be liberally construed, with a view to effect its objects and to promote justice.
