AB 3049, as introduced, Levine.
Economic development: climate change impact.
Existing law establishes in state government, within the Governor’s office, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, also known as “GO-Biz.” Existing law requires the office to serve the Governor as the lead entity for economic strategy and the marketing of California on issues relating to business development, private sector investment, and economic growth.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would require the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development to make publicly available information on the economic impacts of climate change on California’s gross domestic product.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would require the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development to make publicly available information on the economic impacts of climate change on California’s gross domestic product.
