An act to amend Section 6104 6101 of the Public Resources Code, relating to state lands.

AB 930, as amended, Travis Allen.
State Lands Commission: meetings. membership.
Existing law establishes the State Lands Commission in the Natural Resources Agency, consisting of the Controller, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Director of Finance.
This bill would add to the membership of the commission 2 members appointed by the governor, one member appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules, and one member appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly.
Existing law establishes the State Lands Commission and prescribes the functions and duties of the commission with regard to the control and administration of state lands. Existing law requires the commission to meet, upon due notice to all members thereof, at those times and places within the state as are deemed necessary by it for the transaction of its business.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes in those provisions governing commission meetings.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 6101 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:6101.
There is a State Lands Commission in the Natural Resources Agency, consisting of the Controller, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Director of Finance. Finance, two members appointed by the Governor, one member appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules, and one member appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly.SECTION 1.Section 6104 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:6104.The commission shall meet, upon due notice to all its members, at those times and places within the state deemed necessary by
the commission for the proper transaction of its business.
