(d)Approximately two acres of real property with improvements made thereon, located at 601 E. 11th Street, Reedley, California, known as the Reedley Armory.

(a)Notwithstanding Chapter 726 of the Statutes of 2018, the Director of General Services shall transfer ownership of the approximately two acres of real property with improvements made thereon, located at 601 E. 11th Street, Reedley, California, known as the Reedley Armory, to the City of Reedley if the following conditions are met:
(1)The property is used for the
sole purpose of providing supportive services that improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. Supportive services provided may include, but are not limited to, behavioral health services, counseling, social services, case management, affordable housing, and employment training and placement.
(2)The City of Reedley continues to operate and maintain the property, consistent with safe usage for clients, and invests in upgrades to the property, including, but not be limited to, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and gender-neutral bathrooms.
(b)If, on or before January 1, 2025, the property transferred in subdivision (a) ceases to be used
as required in subdivision (a) for a continuous period of 12 months, the City of Reedley shall have a period of six months to purchase the property for the sum of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000), pursuant to Section 435 of the Military and Veterans Code, and if it is not purchased, the property shall revert back to the state.
