An act to amend Section 4581 of the Public Resources Code, relating to timber harvesting plans.

AB 2286, as introduced, Tom Berryhill. Timber harvesting plans.
Existing law prohibits a person from conducting timber operations unless a timber harvesting plan, prepared by a registered professional forester, has been submitted to the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that law.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 4581 of the Public Resources Code is amended to read:

4581.
 No A person shall not conduct timber operations unless a timber harvesting plan prepared by a registered professional forester has been submitted for such the operations to the department pursuant to this article. Such The plan shall be required in addition to the license required in Section 4571.
