Existing law requires the adopted course of study for grades 7 to 12, inclusive, to include courses in career technical education designed and conducted to prepare youth for gainful employment in the occupations and in the numbers appropriate to the personnel needs of the state and the community served and relevant to the career desires and needs of the pupils. Existing law defines vocational-technical education as having the same meaning as career technical education.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to the provision establishing that definition.
