SB 383, as introduced, Aanestad. Personal and corporation taxes: credit: health care providers.
The Personal Income Tax Law and the Corporation Tax Law authorize various credits against the taxes imposed by those laws.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact the necessary statutory changes to provide an income tax credit for health care providers that provide care to uninsured patients at no cost to the patient.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact the necessary statutory changes to provide an income tax credit for health care providers that provide care to uninsured patients at no cost to the patient.
