An act to amend Section 65300.5 of the Government Code, relating to land use.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 1863, as introduced, Knight. Land use.
Under the Planning and Zoning Law, in construing the provisions regarding the scope of general plans, the Legislature states an intent that the general plan and elements and parts thereof comprise an integrated, internally consistent and compatible statement of policies for the adopting agency.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to this provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 65300.5 of the Government Code is amended to read:

65300.5.
 In construing the provisions of this article, the Legislature intends that the general plan and elements and parts thereof of the general plan comprise an integrated, internally consistent, and compatible statement of policies for the adopting agency.
