The San Francisco State University may maintain a child care center as an integral part of the state university. The center shall be used for observation, demonstration, study, student experience, and student teaching.

The trustees shall determine the fee which the state university shall charge the parents or guardian of any child admitted to the center. All fees shall be used to reimburse the state university for the cost of operating and maintaining the center.

No child shall be admitted to the center unless he meets the requirements for admittance to a child development center.

The budget for the center may be prepared and submitted to the trustees with the budget of the state university.
