AB 2874, as introduced, Soria. Planning and zoning: residential development.
The Planning and Zoning Law authorizes a development proponent to submit an application for a multifamily housing development that is subject to a streamlined, ministerial approval process and not subject to a conditional use permit if the development satisfies specified objective planning standards.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would eliminate barriers to new residential development.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would eliminate barriers to new residential development.
