An act to add Section 66907 to the Education Code, relating to postsecondary education.

AB 24, as introduced, Block. California Postsecondary Education Commission: feasibility study: Chula Vista.
Existing law establishes the California Postsecondary Education Commission as the statewide postsecondary education coordinating and planning agency and requires the commission to be advisory to the Governor, the Legislature, other appropriate government officials, and institutions of postsecondary education.
This bill would require the commission to complete a study and make recommendations concerning the feasibility of establishing and expanding postsecondary education opportunities in Chula Vista, California.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 66907 is added to the Education Code, to read:

66907.
 The California Postsecondary Education Commission shall conduct a study and make recommendations concerning the feasibility of establishing and expanding postsecondary education opportunities in Chula Vista, California.
