An act to amend Section 341 of the Streets and Highways Code, relating to streets and highways.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 1247, as introduced, Hurtado. Route 41: Tachi Highway.
Existing law vests the Department of Transportation with full possession and control of all state highways. Existing law provides for the California Transportation Commission to adopt locations for state highways on routes authorized by law, and describes the authorized routes in the state highway system, including that for Route 41, as provided.
This bill would name and designate Route 41 as the “Tachi Highway.”

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 341 of the Streets and Highways Code is amended to read:

341.
 (a) Route 41 is from:

(a)

(1) Route 1 in Morro Bay to Route 46.

(b)

(2) Route 46 to Route 99 in Fresno.

(c)

(3) Route 99 in Fresno to Yosemite National Park.
(b) Route 41 shall be known and designated as the “Tachi Highway.”
