An act to amend Section 440 of the Insurance Code, relating to insurance.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 1018, as introduced, Flora. Insurance: warranties.
Existing law generally regulates the rules governing insurance contracts, including warranties within insurance policies. Existing law provides that a warranty is either express or implied.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 440 of the Insurance Code is amended to read:

440.
 A warranty is either express or implied. either of the following:
(a) Express.
(b) Implied.
