An act relating to prisons.

AB 2610, as introduced, Cooper. Prisons: wild mustang program.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact a bill creating a prisoner rehabilitation pilot program in which inmates are trained to provide care for and train feral horses, as specified.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact a bill creating a prisoner rehabilitation pilot program at an unspecified adult facility of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in which inmates are trained to provide care for and train feral horses provided from herds managed by the Bureau of Land Management of the United States Department of the Interior, to prepare the horses for adoption.
