An act to amend Section 15813.2 of the Government Code, relating to state buildings.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 3044, as introduced, McCarty.
State buildings: works of art: financing.
Existing law requires the State Architect and the Arts Council, jointly, to determine and implement procedures for the purchase or lease of existing works of art, or the commissioning of artists to create works of art, for display in state buildings, pursuant to specified conditions. Under existing law, financing for the works of art are subject to an appropriation in the annual Budget Act and existing law authorizes the State Architect and the Arts Council, jointly, to accept and expend federal money for those purposes.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to these provisions.
