(a) Commencing September 1, 2025, a state agency or department that administers one or more state homelessness programs shall annually report cost and outcome data to the council in accordance with the data collection and reporting procedures developed pursuant to subdivision (b) for each state-funded homelessness program the agency or department administers.(b) The council shall develop data collection and reporting procedures for the data collection and reporting required pursuant to subdivision (a) in coordination with each agency or department required to report to the council pursuant to subdivision (a), and in alignment with existing reporting requirements, as applicable.
(c) The council shall compile the data reported pursuant to subdivision (a) and, commencing April 1, 2026, shall annually make the compiled data available to the public.
