SB-921 State agencies: Internet Web sites: disclosure of financial information.(2017-2018)

As Amends the Law Today


 Section 11000.5 is added to the Government Code, to read:

 (a) Any state agency that maintains or operates its own Internet Web site shall post, in a conspicuous place on the homepage, a brief disclosure in clear, legible table form, of the total number of persons it employs, both full time and part time, its total authorized budget amount, and the sources of it funding for the current and five preceding fiscal years.
(b) For purposes of this section, “state agency” has the same meaning as defined in subdivision (a) of Section 11000 and shall include the California State University.
