To the Members of the California State Senate: I am returning the following bills without my signature. AB 180 SB 275 SB 707 Each of these bills requires the Department of Health Care Services to establish a stakeholder process to deliberate and advise the department on an issue with Medi-Cal. Not every problem with Medi-Cal needs or deserves a public stakeholder process. The department regularly collaborates with stakeholders including interested organizations, experts, partners and colleagues. I am confident it will continue to do so. Sincerely, Edmund G. Brown Jr. |
