An act relating to document recording.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 1327, as introduced, Atkins. Building Homes and Jobs Act.
Existing law, the Building Homes and Jobs Act, imposes a charge, except as provided, of $75 to be paid at the time of the recording of every real estate instrument, paper, or notice required or permitted by law to be recorded, per each single transaction per parcel of real property, not to exceed $225.
This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would provide clarifying amendments to the provisions described above.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would provide clarifying amendments to the Building Homes and Jobs Act.
