An act to amend Section 25001 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, relating to health care coverage.

LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST

AB 1177, as introduced, Gray. Health care coverage.
Existing law states the intent of the Legislature to create a process by which the options for achieving universal health care coverage can be thoroughly examined. Existing law requires the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency to report back to the Legislature on the options for achieving health care coverage, including specified information. Existing law requires the secretary to report back to the Legislature on or before December 1, 2001, on the results of the process, as specified.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
