An act to amend Section 811.4 of the Government Code, relating to the Tort Claims Act.

AB 2448, as introduced, Harkey. Tort Claims Act: definitions.
The Tort Claims Act provides for the liability and immunity of a governmental entity for its acts or omissions that cause harm to persons and defines a public employee as an employee of a public entity for these purposes.
This bill would make a technical, nonsubstantive change to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 811.4 of the Government Code is amended to read:

811.4.
 “Public employee” means an employee of a person employed by a public entity.
