An act to amend Section 15155 of the Government Code, relating to the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System.

SB 1336, as introduced, Cogdill. California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System: advisory committee: membership.
Existing law establishes an advisory committee on the California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System to advise and assist the Attorney General in the management of the system with respect to operating policies, service evaluation, and system discipline. Members of the committee serve without compensation, except for reimbursement for travel expenses.
This bill would add a representative from the Chief Probation Officers of California to the membership of the committee.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 15155 of the Government Code is amended to read:

15155.
 The committee shall consist of representatives from the following organizations:
(1) Two representatives from the Peace Officers’ Association of the State of California.
(2) One representative from the California State Sheriffs’ Association.
(3) One representative from the League of California Cities.
(4) One representative from the County Supervisors Association of California.
(5) One representative from the Department of Justice.
(6) One representative from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
(7) One representative from the Department of General Services.
(8) One representative from the California Highway Patrol.
(9) One representative from the California Police Chiefs Association.
(10) One representative from the Chief Probation Officers of California.
