AB 851, as introduced, Wyland. Crime.
Existing law provides for the funding of various programs intended to prevent crimes and apprehend criminals.
This bill would state legislative intent to provide resources allowing campus police to address the backlog of unsolved sex offenses on University of California and California State University campuses.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 It is the intent of the Legislature to provide resources that would allow campus police to address the backlog of unsolved sex offenses on University of California and California State University campuses.
