Thank you for visiting our site! As the 2013-2014 session begins, we have updated our Welcome Page with information regarding our past, current, and planned activities. In the future, we intend to post announcements, feature highlights, and FAQs as they become available.

At the end of 2012, the California Codes were updated with all of the new laws that became effective on January 1, 2013. Below each code section affected by those laws, the history note will indicate "Effective January 1, 2013." In addition, any subscriptions to 2011-2012 bills that you had are now deleted because that session is over. Subscriptions are only for bills in the current session (2013-2014).

We hope that our site makes it easier for you to find what you need regarding California legislative information. While we completed our first official set of enhancements in 2012, we are planning another release later this year.

We are currently reviewing all comments and suggestions on our Feedback page for possible inclusion in future releases. You may continue to use the original http://leginfo.ca.gov for features that have not yet been added. Thank you to everyone who has posted comments – it helps us understand what is most (and least) useful.
